A little more about me...
I have experience of both long and short-term counselling for adults aged 18 and over for a broad range of difficulties including:
- major life events, ie birth, redundancy, accident, illness or divorce
- bereavement and loss
- depression
- addiction
- anxiety
- panic attacks
- stress
- Neurodiversity (e.g., Asperger’s syndrome, autism)
- childhood sexual abuse – both male and female survivors
- adult male and female sexual violation/rape
- family problems
- difficulties with prescribed and non-prescribed drugs
- low self-esteem & lack of confidence
- relationship difficulties
- lack of direction or meaning in life
- caring for someone who is ill or disabled
I do not see clients who have significant learning disabilities, are experiencing psychosis; are actively suicidal; have severe personality disorders or demonstrate violent or aggressive tendencies.
My Approach
My counselling approach is integrative, using several different counselling models, including person-centred, existential, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural therapy. Certain counselling styles and approaches suit some people more than others, so I draw from a range of approaches to provide the right support for you.
My Experience
I have many years’ experience in the counselling and psychology field.
This includes working in several General Practitioners’ (GP) surgeries in Islington and Essex, Survivors UK supporting male victims of sexual abuse or sexual violation, drug and alcohol services, Mind in Camden and supporting adults with autism spectrum disorders and their families.
I have regular supervision in accordance with the relevant professional bodies, the British Psychological Society and British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

- Certificate in Existential Supervision and Group Leadership (NSPC)

- Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society AFBPsS
- Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP
